In Revelation 12:1, The Apostle St. John who received the Divine Command to take Mary as His Mother (See John 19: "Behold Your Mother: 25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!” 27 Then He said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home.") explains to us he sees a Glorious Queen Mother in Heaven who is our own Mother too.

She is the Mother of all God's Children including St. John and you and me. Who is this Queen Mother so Great and Glorious in Heaven above, who must have been "Blessed Among Women" (Luk 1:42) and "Full of Grace" (Luk 1:28) right here on Earth too? That's right, the Blessed Virgin Mary, fulfilling God's Promise, "for behold from henceforth all Generations will call Me Blessed" (Luk 1:48), the Mother of Christ (Revelation 12:5) and also the Mother of Saint John (Jn 19:25-26) and of all of us Christians (Revelation 12:17).

It is only to be expected that a King Great and Glorious like Christ would give His Mother this Reward. We recall He said in the Gospel those who do Great Works in secret His Father will reward openly (see Matthew 6). This is what the One Holy Triune God has now done in Crowning Mother Mary.

Revelation 12:1, NKJV: The Woman, the Child, and the Dragon:
12
1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.

... 5 She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne ...

17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."

Thoughts? If someone has a different explanation and how its consistent with the whole passage and All Scripture, let's hear it. Also note that Revelation 12:17 is a fulfilment of the Promise/Prophecy in Genesis 3:15.
